These some of the pieces from my AP Art 2D Design Portfolio with the theme of cityscapes.

This piece demonstrates an idealized view of the city by comparing it to a palace on clouds.

This was my first cityscape painting ever. It was about a balance. The moon in the painting is the source of light which helps illustrate how light mixes with the dark and how light fades.

During the creation of this piece, fashion from the Y2K era were trending, so I tried to incorporate patterns from the clothes into this piece. I sold this piece at an art auction that funds neuroscience research.

In this piece, I experimented with watercolor on non water-soluble ink, which is now one of my favorite mediums.

In this piece, I painted the city lights on a rainy night and by using acrylic paints for the base and oil pastel for the colored lights.

This piece was a commentary on pollution in the cities and its negative impact on the environment such as the melting of glaciers.

This piece was about how romantic the city looks in the rain. While making this piece, I listened to “Green Light” by Lorde, which really helped me free myself, especially during the time when I was using watercolor.

In this painting, I experimented with digital art and perspective to paint a bombing on a city.

This painting is about how Satan wakes up and unveils his bed spread as night comes on and the city becomes more dangerous.

In this painting, I used a digital editor to make the buildings look like they are caving in, to demonstrate the feeling of the fear of being all alone in the city.
